Mark Knopfler is known for his blistering lead guitar work with Dire Straits. However many people would be surprised to learn that as an acoustic guitarist his abilities are just as amazing.  Whether playing jazz standards with Chet Atkins, country music with Emmylou Harris or folk with James Taylor, his licks are as tasty as Kentucky Fried.  His ability on an acoustic guitar led the Martin Guitar Company to build a number of signature acoustic guitars and here we see him playing one of those guitars on his blues based song Marbletown from his album "Ragpicker's Dream." This guy is just so good on guitar!
