Though a lot of men consider her just another "chick" singer, Joni Mitchell among her peers is not only a gifted songstress but an incredible guitar player.
Her alternate tunings became so complicated and numerous that she needed to catalog her tunings and keep them on a computer that she kept with her from gig to gig.
Her talent to me ranks her among my favorite guitarists and her album Blue being one of my top 5 albums of all time. I've decided to pick a couple of her (relatively) more recent songs with Joni performing Night Ride Home and Number One. Two for Tuesday, enjoy.
